This form indicates your interest in enrolling your child in our new Nature Beginnings program! We are taking interest forms until August 15, after which names will be put into our lottery system for final enrollment. Nature Beginnings 
Beginning preschool is a big step for young children! This new class at Aldo Leopold Nature Preschool aims to bridge the gap between family programs (where the child attends a program with a family member) and traditional preschool (where the child is away from family). Nature Beginnings is recommended for children ages 3 and 4 who have little or no previous preschool experience. The class will be held OUTDOORS at the nature center, with one of our outdoor classrooms as home base. Bathrooms will be accessible for students. We will take advantage of our beautiful natural spaces, including the prairie, basswoods, pond, tamarack forest, and maple fields, to hike and explore. We will also spend time on social-emotional learning such as greeting each other by name, listening to one another, and learning to take turns.
