Nature is at the heart of Aldo Leopold Nature Preschool program, which means that while we have the same child development goals as any other high quality preschool, the curriculum and educators achieve these developmental goals through nature-based experiences. This means that children are spending a majority of their time outside every day, experiencing and connecting with the natural world around them, learning through hands-on experiences and activities that provide daily opportunities for personal growth and achievement. Based upon seasonal changes, the thoughtfully balanced curriculum includes art, music, science exploration, and mindfulness and strives to enhance the young child’s physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and creative development.
If you would like your child to be considered for enrollment at Aldo Leopold Nature Preschool for the 2019-2020 school year, please complete this registration request that includes a scholarship assistance application if needed. We still have openings in the morning half-day programs (TR and MWF am). Register today! The Monday-Friday full-day program is full for 2019-20 school year. ALNP staff will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your child’s enrollment and to inform you of any scholarship awards if applicable. In the event that you are not admitted, ALNP will maintain a waiting list and contact you if a spot becomes available.
An effort will be made to grant each family’s first choice for class days and times, however ALNP will attempt to balance classrooms with a mix of ages and other characteristics to create optimal learning environments.
After you complete the registration form and submit payment, a confirmation email will be sent with further information regarding the registration and enrollment process.
